India Fascinates Hollywood !

Though Bollywood has been the biggest movie industry in the world for many, many years, yet Hollywood has only recently realized this. As a result, more and more Hollywood filmmakers are turning towards Bollywood. In these circumstances, the best way is to enter into joint production. The recent news is certainly heartening that Hollywood celebrity couple of Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones have been working on a script which will be filmed in India. Zeta-Jones didn’t hesitate to say that she would pack her whole family and set base in India for the shoot! Great.
This follows another A-list celebrity couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie who have already been in Pune with their family for the filming of ‘A Mighty Heart.’ How has India fascinated Hollywood? Well, this began in a small way. Actors and musicians sought to visit India for both personal and business reasons. Some have come to work, others to highlight social causes like AIDS, and yet others to recuperate and heal at low points in their personal lives. That’s why Ashley Judd, Richard Gere and Ralph Fiennes have been coming to India, maybe to draw the country’s attention to social issues, and most importantly, to highlight the menace of AIDS.
