Eros adds more Hollywood blockbusters to its library

Leading media company Eros International Plc Thursday announced its plans to expand its library of Hollywood films by acquiring 146 titles, adding top blockbusters like Rambo 4, Rush Hour 3, Lonely Hearts, The Accidental Husband and Incubus.

‘We are excited about adding to our existing range of home entertainment as part of our consolidation strategy, tapping into new markets and reaching out to a wider spectrum of home viewing audiences,’ said Sunil Lulla, director and president, India, Eros International Plc.

 

‘Eros plans to add a further 1,000 titles to its international repertoire shortly and offer customers a wider range of premium Hollywood films,’ added Hanif Khatri, senior vice-president, India operation.

 

With this acquisition, Eros International Plc, an established global player in the fast-growing Indian media and entertainment arena, adds to its growing catalogue of blockbuster Hollywood titles including the Kill Bill series, Oscar-winning Aviator, Finding Neverland, Scary Movie III, My Boss’ Daughter and many more, the company said.
