SHAHID BURIES THE PAST, KAREENA IS ADAMANT

Shahid Kapur has finally broken his silence that he maintained for several days even after his return from shooting in Canada. Maybe he didn’t like to say anything before knowing the mind of his costar and yesterday’s love interest - Kareena Kapoor - about their break-up news. Shahid says, “Kareena and I are very different as actors. She is spontaneous and without really making you feel that she’s thinking about what she’s doing, she just does the scene and delivers instantly. She doesn’t make a hullabaloo about it the way I do!” When asked about him, he says, “I am an absolute contrast. I like to dwell over a scene and take my time to understand it. If I’m not happy with the first take I like to go for the repeat. She gets irritated with me sometimes because I behave like Einstein!” In spite of such sweet words in defence of her by Shahid, Kareena prefers to be discreet about her personal life - especially, Shahid Kapoor.
She seems to have forgotten him as of now. She came to New Delhi, checked into a hotel, and was seen having lunch with Saif Ali in the company of Amrita Arora, Usmaan and a couple of other friends. She kept away from the media saying “I say something and what comes out (in media) is something else.” She added, “Why should I speak about happenings in my personal life? How will my personal life make any difference to them?” This is surprising indeed as she had always commented on her thick relationship with Shahid in the past.
Sources close to Kareena indicate that she was also upset with Shahid because of the reports of the latter’s intense relationship with Amrita Rao . There seems to be some quarrel between the two about their extraneous love relationships — Shahid’s with Amrita Rao and Kareena’s with Saif. While Shahid appears to be liberal, Kareena is apparently conservative. She has changed herself completely ; she is seen eating chicken with Saif though she had given it up for Shahid’s sake. Both were seen at a candlelit dinner where Saif is reported to be to be in a “flirtatious” mood. Later, Kareena was seen celebrating the release of the new advertisement for ICI Dulux Velvet Touch Paint with Pearl Glow Finish. Brand’s ambassadors — Kareena Kapoor and Amrita Arora - performed at a diva night in Delhi. First, Kim Sharma danced to ” Sajna ji vari vari” followed by Amrita dancing to “Dilli ki sardi”.. But, the finale dance was Karenna’s who looked a golden girl in her jeans and golden top ensemble, breaking several hearts.
