AKSHAY : ‘BHOOL BHULAIYA’ IS A PYSCHO THRILLER

After a string of hits at the box-office ‘Mr Dependable’ of tinsel town is ga ga over his upcoming release ‘Bhool Bhulaiya’ in which he plays a different role. About the movie Akshays says, “The Priyadarshan-directed movie is a psycho thriller and is based on the subject which has never been taken up by any director on the screen.” He elaborates ,”I mean when we switch on any channel of TV we get to listen lots of stories related to ghosts, witches and supernatural powers. We have grown up listening to such stories. My film is an attempt to spread an awareness that there is no existence of ghosts and what most of us believe is our superstition.”
The film is being released on Friday, October 12. Paresh Rawal, known for his villainous as well as comic roles, in a co-star with Akshay in ‘Hera Pheri’ says, ” In real life, there is hardly anything to say. Whatever I want to do or say, I get to do it on the silver screen, so in normal life I don’t feel the necessity to do or say anything.” When asked about the theme of the movie, he says , ” The film deals with a family that encounters a spiritual force. Amidst all of this we have the issue of marriage — getting girls who have reached that certain age married off, and the problems a family faces in this regard. Keeping one’s dignity intact is the biggest challenge. The film deals with such things.”
